High Heels: High Heel Lace Up Boots

High heel lace up boots add modernity and classiness to any ensemble while remaining comfortable enough to walk around in.

Editors predict Chelsea boots, cowboy designs, and chunky hiking styles will remain popular this year and next. Alisa Richter of Sill Public Relations Director purchased a black Coclico pair that she described as “impeccably constructed and comfortable to wear.”

Black Suede

Look no further for a classic yet contemporary black suede boot than this option. It features a lower heel height for those who wish to avoid high-heel pain and a stretchy back shaft design that accommodates calves of all shapes and sizes. In addition, its water resistance ensures a long wear time. Plus, you have multiple width options.

Grace Thomas of Portland-based wardrobe stylist Grace Thomas was drawn to these high heels lace up boots because of their slim ankle and sleek silhouette, which caught her attention. Thomas described them as having “a very clean look that won’t date,” their website stated they could be worn with anything from flowy dresses and leather jackets to raw-hemmed denim jeans and raw denim jackets.

These shoes offer a contemporary take on the timeless equestrian-inspired leather ankle boots worn by fashion bloggers to pair with tights and miniskirts. Their low heel makes them an excellent spring/summer bootie option that makes trips in warm climates easier!

Initial comfort may only be average; after extended wear (even several hours), they may lose their comfort quickly. Furthermore, these shoes aren’t as durable as leather, and their thin foam won’t outlive harder surfaces like cork or wood. Plus, Banana Republic Factory doesn’t have an excellent track record for shipping; mine arrived in an unattractive plastic bag, which wasn’t ideal.

Skinny Jeans

Skinny jeans are slim-fitting jeans that hug the body from the waist to the ankle. These timeless winter/fall fashion staples pair beautifully with boots and should never go out of fashion. Booties with pointed toes or slim heel pairs best with skinny jeans as they accentuate leg shape; shorter hems may need to be cuffed or rolled up to show off the tops of boots for optimal effect; for best results, these should also match in colour.

Black lace-up boots are timeless classics when worn with skinny jeans. Wear them to elevate any special event ensemble or simply for casual wear to add an eye-catching touch – try pairing them with cropped jeans for a trendy silhouette.

Chelsea boots, tall, knee-high boots and short ankle boots all pair nicely with skinny jeans. Avoid round-toe shoes, as these tend to thicken up narrow-leg jeans.

Knee-high boots are an indispensable wardrobe essential, ideal for dressing up or down. A solid colour pair works equally well when worn with dark denim jeans and a white tee or with light-wash jeans and an eye-catching coat.

Velvet

There’s something magical about women wearing heels: Their confidence is boosted, their legs elongated, and hips sway side to side hypnotically.

But if you’re going to go for the heel, make sure it’s a sturdy one that will last. These boots, recommended by Strategist editors Taylor Tomasi Hill and Tilly Macalister-Smith, are sturdily constructed with a minimalist design that will keep you stylish season after season.

Ensure the heel is comfortably snug and not too loose, or it will slip on your heel while walking. A little slippage is okay, but it shouldn’t be more than a quarter inch. Finally, make sure that your calf width is properly fit as well. It is a more critical factor in comfort than the toe box, as your feet will chafe if the boot pinches them. It can lead to blisters and calluses.
